Did you make it to Vernon Park last April 13? If not, you missed out big time! The Health In Action Festival 2024 brought together our community for a day packed with excitement, entertainment, and, most importantly, a commitment to health and wellness. Let me walk you through the highlights of this amazing event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Picture this: snagging an HD TV, stumbling upon a live boa (yep, a snake!), indulging in complimentary water ice and funnel cake from Siddiq’s Real Fruit Water Ice, and grooving to DJ Diamond Kuts’ tunes. Sounds like a fantasy, right? Yet, it was all reality at the Health In Action Festival 2024. This yearly event just keeps upping its game with each passing year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the exciting attractions, the festival had a noble mission: offering free services to champion a healthier and more resilient community. It was inspiring to witness diverse organizations unite, providing screening services, resources, and crucial information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge shoutout to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for their consistent support year after year. Their dedication to community wellness is truly inspiring. We also extend our gratitude to the Black Voters Matter Fund for their invaluable support in making this event possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s not forget the private ink<\/em><\/strong> for their commitment to keeping the peace and ensuring that everyone could enjoy the festivities in a safe environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
